Tips on Getting the Most From What You Earn

Working people nowadays want to get the best out of what they earn. When shopping, dining out, or choosing which movie to watch, the working population wants to make sure that they are getting the maximum value out of the money they spend. Are you a part of that group? Are you one of those people who takes a lot of time looking for the best buys?

How would you know if you made the right decision in buying something? Simply summarized, the best buy offers the best quality for the price you are willing to pay. One way of knowing is to assess other products which offer the same features and compare the price. It's better to keep this in mind whenever you are spending to make sure you'll get the most out of it. Look for cheaper products of the same class which do not sacrifice style, quality, durability and purpose.

Another great tip to follow is to look for innovative products and options. These are products which come in a different type or class but serve the same purpose. For example, when you are planning to build an in ground pool in your yard, you might not just limit yourself in finding cheaper materials or looking for cheap labor. A better idea is to settle with the most innovative option. In this case, you may go for one of the above ground pools available in the market. It offers the same value, style and quality for a far cheaper price.

After looking for innovative options, the next step is to go for the best option there is. In the example given above, the next thing to do is to look for the best dealer of above ground swimming pools. Look for the dealer that will offer you a wide variety of stylish and quality choices, will help you choose the best one for your need, and will offer you a justifiable price for the product.

If you follow these tips, you're assured that you will not waste a penny. You get the most out of your money and out of what you've worked hard for.

2 Tier Affiliate Programs Explained

Affiliates are getting clearer by the day. So these days, affiliates know the difference between the different types of traffic they can get paid for. There are a lot of definitions though – CPM, CPC, CPA, CPL, CPD and many more.

CPM is impressions, when the publisher (the website owner) gets paid every time a banner is shown.

CPC is clicks, where the publisher (or email marketer and other marketers) gets paid every time a banner or text link is clicked upon.

The other ways of getting paid are grouped together under the term performance marketing – and this is where the term affiliate is most commonly used as well.

An affiliate is a marketer who sends visitors to another site using a variety of methods (such as placing banners or text links on their own site, buying sponsored listings on search engines, email marketing and many other different methods) and gets paid when an action happens. This action can be a lead (CPL stands for Cost per Lead), a Sale (CPS stands for Cost per Sale), a download (CPD stands for Cost per download) and many other variations.

Some in the Internet industry refer to performance based marketing as CPA (cost per acquisition), although the term is also sometimes used for specific types of campaigns such as leads or sales.

Now that we've got over the hard part, the rest is easy to understand.

The affiliate gets paid for sending visitors to a specific landing page where an action happens – either a lead, a sale, a download or some other sort of action that the advertiser requires. As an example, some advertisers are looking to build up their databases, so they pay for each opt in email address they receive, others want leads from specific locations, so they pay for zip codes, and then try to convince the visitors after they fill in their zip code, to fill in a more detailed lead form.

The common denominator is that the affiliate gets paid when an action happens.

A 2 Tier affiliate program is simply finding new marketers to sign up under you to do EXACTLY what you are doing – sending visitors to different offers and getting paid when the visitors perform some sort of action. So why would you want other marketers to sign up under you to promote the same offers? Simple – you get paid a percentage of the amount the affiliate you refer gets paid? Sounds complicated?

Do not worry, it's not hard to understand. As an example, say John Promotes 5 different offers on a single affiliate network. He gets paid for every lead, sale, email and zip code he generates from these different offers. John now tells Mark about the Network and gets Mark to sign up using a banner or text link that has John's referral code built into it. Mark now signs up to the Affiliate Network under John and starts promoting various offers and advertisers from the Affiliate Network. These offers DO NOT have to be the same offers that John is promoting. Mark can promote ANY of the offers on the Affiliate Network.

And this is the best part …

For any amounts that Mark gets paid, John receives a percentage of the amount over and above what Mark gets paid. So if Mark gets paid $ 1000 in Month 1, and the 2 Tier Affiliate program is paying 5%, then John would receive $ 50 just for referring Mark.

But it gets even better …

Some 2 Tier Affiliate Networks pay LIFETIME commissions. So John would not get a referral commission just for a month or a year – he receives it FOR ALL TIME.

If Mark becomes a super affiliate and starts generating HUGE missions every month, John can just sit back and collect the checks as he referred him.

There are 3 important things to know when finding affiliates to sign up under you on 2 Tier Affiliate Programs:

Is the affiliate program or affiliate network credible, has proper tracking so your referrals are correctly tracked, has good campaigns and offers for the affiliates to promote so they actually make money, and do they pay timeously? Assuming that the affiliate program or network is good, what percentage do they pay you on amounts that your referrals get paid? All programs vary so compare different programs to see what the industry standard is.

How long do you continue receiving referral decisions for? Some pay for a month, some for the lifetime, and of course there are many variations in between.

So do your homework and find a 2 Tier program that can make you money long in the future for the work you're doing today.

All About LED Strips 4 – The Eternal Debate – SMD3528 Vs SMD5050

SMD 3528 vs SMD 5050, those are the two types of chips most used in strips nowadays, and it is essential to distinguish which one is used in each case because that will impact on the price but of course also on the performance. So what are their features and differences?

SMD 3528 strips LED flexible are a medium output, low heat LED die. In 5 meter reels with 300 chips they generally generate between 120 to 220lm/m (in Pure White) which is enough to project an even light level approximately 300mm (1′) from where it is mounted. Some manufacturers offer Ultra White versions which can offer up to 360lm/m. The average power consumption for this type of LED SMD Strip is 5W/m. However, big manufacturers offer also higher density reels, with 600 chips per 5 meter reel, which deliver up to 440lm/m (in Pure White), which can go even higher to 720lm/m for manufacturers with Ultra White versions. The power consumption in this case is around 10W/m. Most 3528 LED strips can be cut every 3 LED modules, or 50mm (2″) for 300 chip reels and 25mm (1″) for 600 chip reels. SMD3528 is a single color LED strip lighting solution. In terms of price, they are the cheaper option.

SMD 5050 flexible strip LED are a high power, higher heat SMD LED option. They are also commonly referred as triple core strips (when looking closely three different areas can be identified on the chip). Strips using this type of SMD LED flexible strip usually have a wider variety of options, being the most common the normal density reels with 30 chips per meter (360lm/m in Pure White) and a power consumption of around 7,5W/m but some manufacturers offer also higher densities, normally in shorter reels, such as 3 meter, with 60 chips per meter, delivering an astonishing 720lm/m in Pure White with a Power Consumption of around 14,5W/m. As we can see, SMD 5050 can offer a light output over 3 times that of the 3528 strip and therefore the 5050 LED is well suited for lighting up areas that may be subject to high levels of ambient light. 5050 LED strip can also be used as a replacement for fluorescent tube in general task lighting and in light boxes. As a result, logically, they are more expensive, but for installations with high luminosity requirements they are preferred since their cost per lumen is generally lower.

Moreover, the 5050 strip is available in both single color and RGB color change models. The color change version requires additional control but can produce millions of different colors, so finding the right shade or combination is a simple matter of programming.

What type of SMD is better? The answer is simple, it depends. For basic lighting projects with low luminosity requirements, monocolor and when cost is the key factor, then SMD3528 prevails. For more demanding projects or RGB installations, then SMD5050 is the obvious choice.

The Truth About HD TV’s – Myths Explained

Flat TVs have trouble retaining resolution when displaying fast moving images.

This is not strictly true, although it can affect some Televisions. Plasma TVs can present moving objects without loss of crispness or detail. As the pixels can be lit, and de-lit almost instantly there is no loss of image quality depending on the scene speed.

Some LCD TVs however do suffer from problems. Even the fastest LCD screens can suffer with some degree of movement blurring as the pixel must be lit, and de-lit from an electronic charge. LCD technology is getting better however, although you should “try before you buy” to see if the set you are interested in suffers from this.

Screen burn.

Although some of the very early TV’s suffered from screen burn, it is no longer a problem so you should not worry about this. You can now play computer games or watch channels with static logo’s on a TVs without worrying about various static image elements being on the screen for a long period of time. Some TV’s do suffer a small amount of image retention – that is, you may see a remnant of the image still there as soon as you turn it back on, however after a short while of watching another channel this completely disappears.

Plasma TV’s are not a car – They do not need refilling

Many people think that plasma screens need to have the gas refilled in order for it to work. This is completely untrue and you do not need to worry about this.

Lifespan – it’s not dead and buried yet, dear.

When a plasma TV lifespan is quoted, it is usually in (thousands of) hours. However, many take this as when the TV will break. This is not the case. The actual lifespan quoted is for the TV to to run until “half brightness”. That is – the TV will still work, but the picture may not be as awesome as when you first got it. Time to relegate it to the bedroom/study/games room and buy a new model.

Flat TVs have poor viewing angles.

This myth again depends on the set, and the technology. Plasma TVs can actually be watched from very wide viewing angles without any significant loss in color or contrast, thanks to the fact that they emit light directly from each of their screen cells or pixels.

Some LCDs do have problems displaying pictures from wide angles and again, try before you buy.

Higher Resolution is not always better

It is a common myth that a higher screen resolution will give a better picture. This is however not always the case.

More importantly is the screens internal processing (i.e how it displays the picture) and at the time of writing, the pioneer plasma screens, although the only have 1024×768 resolution will display a better image than sets of 1920×1080 (1080p). Before rushing out and buying the latest-and-greatest set (don’t all manufacturers claim their set is better than all the others?) you should ask a local electronic store to hook up 2 or 3 screens you have considered buying and compare the image. Not every has the same opinion on how they like their images to look.

Wanting to do something different with the kids on a weekend? Perhaps you've taken some time off work and want to go for a short but fun adventure with the kids. It's probably time to look out a different side of Las Vegas.

Find Your Inner Self? Nah – Create Yourself!

A few years ago when I was down in the dumps, feeling rather lost, frustrated, confused about where I was going and what to do – a received a lovely gift. It was a mug – but not just any old mug. It had some writing on it which said:

'Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about CREATING YOURSELF '.

Unfortunately it did not say who this delightful quote is from. If you happen to know – do add a comment …

I used to talk to friends and colleagues who may mention 'finding yourself' or your 'inner self' or how it's great to spend time to 'discover yourself'. People to go to meditation retreats, take gap years to find themselves, grow, learn and so on. This is all fine and dandy – but really once you've found 'yourself then what? Let's get on board here – let's make things happen! Spending time to get to know yourself, what you are like – what you enjoy, value, are good at and passionate about is all hugely valuable – do not get me wrong. It's a key emphasis on what we do here – however it forms only 1 part of the equation. In order to get where you want to be we need to take control. Create yourself! Decide what is important to you – how you want to live, and create that world! If you do not want to do it alone find someone to help you – a friend, a mentor, or professional advisor.

Nowadays – whenever I feel confused with life or work, when I'm unsure or unclear about myself – I look at this mug and remember that – I'm in charge. I'm in control. It's up to me to go out there and choose exactly how I want my life and career to be. The focus is not on this soul-searching, 'finding myself', 'discovering the inner me' – in order to move from A to B – it's about creating who I am and who I am going to be. Now it's your turn – go ahead – create yourself …

Offer to Purchase Real Estate Contract – What to Look For

An important aspect of a home purchase is the Offer to Purchase form that the buyer submits to the seller. It is the first of the documents that are used in buying a house. It is basically a sales contract between the buyer and the seller. This document needs to be signed by both parties to be a valid contract.

An Offer to Purchase form is a very critical legal document that states the price the buyer is going to pay. It will also include the mode of payment, advance amount, date of payment, property inspections, terms and conditions, repairs, date of closing, and many other details pertinent to the sale of the property. The most vital element of the Offer to Purchase form is the price of the real estate property that the person intends to purchase. The buyer must specifically state the amount of money that he is willing to pay for the property. He should also clearly state the down payment that he is willing to make. Another aspect of price is how you will be paying it. Clearly state whether you will pay in cash, check, property, mortgage or promissory notes.

Other than the price details, an Offer to Purchase form should contain the following information:

· Full names of both the parties involved in the transaction

· Complete addresses and contact details of the buyer and seller

· Description of the property and its physical and legal addresses

· Tentative date for transferring title and possession of property

· Details of personal properties included along with the house or land

· Amount of time to accept the offer to purchase; specifies the expiration date of the offer

· Details for an inspection of the property by the buyer

· Contingency clauses

While using an Offer to Purchase form to write the contract, make sure that the form is accepted by the law in your state. State laws regarding real estate contracts and forms can vary and your form should conform to the laws in which the transaction is taking place. Get the help of professional real estate agents or attorneys to ensure that you are using the right Offer to Purchase form currently in use in that particular state. If you download forms from the Internet, you need to check its validity before using them to write your contract. You will also need professional help in filling out the form as incomplete or incorrect forms cannot be deemed legal or valid.

The most significant part of any real estate form is that it should be signed by both the parties with the correct date. An unsigned contract will have no validity.

You can get the Offer to Purchase form from real estate agents or you can buy them online. Most reliable real estate websites offer forms as a package; you can also buy them separately as per your requirement. Package deals are much cheaper than buying one form at a time. Since you will need a lot of forms to buy a house, it is a good idea to buy the full set.

Xbox 360 Three Red Light Fix For a Permanent Solution

I just recently got the red rings of death and I needed an Xbox 360 three red light fix. I wasn’t sure how to go about it so I called up my friend to see if he knew a way around it, but he was of no help and just told me to call Microsoft. I have heard of the nightmare stories being reported by many people about having to wait for 3 months just to get their system back, and being charged up to $140 simply to get it fixed. That was not right for me so i made a decision to do a little research in order to find the best Xbox 360 three red light fix.

The Xbox 360 repair guides can even help you begin a small business of fixing other peoples Xbox 360 consoles for a price when they get the red ring of death, or three red lights. It is not complicated to repair the Xbox 360 by making use of the guides, reason being that it was created so that anyone could with full confidence use it regardless of any experience with tools. You ought to be able to get the job done by simply making use of a couple of household items that are lying around. During my research I got some pretty interesting results concerning which one of the guides out there was the best Xbox 360 three red light fix. And towards the end of my research Chris Jones Xbox Fix was at the top of my list. With this guide you will understand how to repair the Xbox 360, and you could end up saving yourself $140 and quite a lot of headache.

How to Make Your Xbox 360 Last For a very long time With These Easy Steps

1) Your Xbox 360 needs cool air to keep its components from burning up; so it is a great idea to place it in an open area when it is being used. And this should prevent it from crashing repeatedly.

2) When the power brick attached to the Xbox 360 is not getting any cool air it is going to heat up very quickly and this will shorten the life span. The console needs to be placed on a sturdy surface above the ground allowing for the intake of cooler air to cool the system.

3) You can also try grabbing a little fan, and blowing cool air into the systems vents. This will not only help to cool the consoles internal system parts, but will also blow away any build-up of dust that may be causing your Xbox 360 to crash. Do not forget to also try this on the power brick.

4) If you want your Xbox 360 to last for a very long time, you will need to take good care of it. You should always turn it off after playing for about 3 – 4 hours daily. This will avoid over heating and increase its life span, and you will spend less money trying to repair it if it gets an overheating damage.

The Final Results Of My Tests

Out of the three guides I tested, Chris Jones Xbox fix turned out to be the best Xbox 360 three red light fix that worked for me. With this guide you will now be qualified to quickly diagnose the issue with your console and then fix it in a short time. You have the choice of sending your unit over to an Xbox 360 repair center, but it does not beat being able to fix your Xbox 360 by yourself and saving more money in the process. Microsoft repair centers are known for charging upwards of $130, and you will have to wait up to 3 weeks just to get it back. Chris Jones Xbox fix guide could be the guide book that you have to keep close by at all times because it has the solutions for other Xbox problems as well.

I decided to test 3 of the leading Xbox fix guides in order to fix my Xbox, and they all promised to be the solution. But I soon found out that only one of them could actually back up its claims. And like most people, I needed something that would help me to get back to gaming as soon as possible. Luckily my system is now in perfect condition thanks to my testing of these 3 guides, and because they genuinely showed me how to fix the red ring of death.

How to Make Huge Profits With a Small List

You have all heard the tired catch phrase "The money is in the list", but does this mean that you need a huge list, to be able to make real money? No, not any more. This report with audio, reveals an unbelievable secret method of learning the really big bucks, without a big list. Some of the top marketers have lists of between 50000 and 2million names. With a list that size, it is no wonder they make the kind of money the rest of us only dream about.

I mean, work it out logically. Let's say that Mr X sends out a special offer every day of the month. He may send more, or he may repeat the offer, but let's assume he sends only 30 mails that month to his list. Let's assume that he has a list of 50 000. Some top marketers report conversions (that is another word for a percentage of sales per mailing) of 10%, 20% and even as much as 30% on certain products, but let's take an average conversion of 5%. These conversions obviously differ from day to day, or from offer to offer and also vary each month. So let's use a conversion of only 5%. Some products cost $ 5, while others cost as much as $ 900, so let's be really pessimistic and use an average price of only $ 27 per offer. In real terms this means that Mr X sends out 30 mailings to each person, per month. That is 1 500 000 mailings per month, but hey, it's all automated. He prepares one mail offer and then, by using his auto-responder, he blasts it out to the entire list. So, this offer is snapped up by 75 000 subscribers and the price is $ 27. That means Mr X receives an income of $ 2 025 000 for that month. I'm not joking, this is what some of the big gurus earn! Okay, so that is $ 467 667 per week in sales, but we are not all big gurus, are we?

Looking at your situation, how does this compare? We are not all master list builders and it takes ages to collect names. Let's assume you have a list of only 1300. What chance do you have? Well let's work it out. You probably do not get a conversion factor anywhere near 5%, but let's assume that you do convert at 2%. So, for the purpose of comparison, let's say you also send 30 mailings per month, get a 2% conversion and also use an average price of $ 27. You send out 39 000 mails that month. 2% of your list buy for $ 27. Your gross sales for the month are $ 21 060. That is an average weekly income of $ 4 863. That's not to be laughed at, it's not a bad income, but it has taken you years of hard work to achieve these figures and now you need to step up a few notches. How on earth do you find another few thousand names? How long will it take to get to 50 000 subscribers? Well, there is an alternative. It will be quicker and easier than trying to find 48 700 more names and then still nurturing them into becoming buyers and hopefully reaching a regular conversion rate of 5%.

Would not it be brilliant to leave your list at 1300 and achieve sales of $ 64 950 per month. Really, there is a method which will show you how to make $ 15000 in only 7 days. Surely it makes sense to try this before battling to increase your list and conversions! This guy has written a report showing a secret method he used to make $ 15000 in 7 days, with a list of 1286. What have you got to lose? Look what you could gain. Give it a try. This secret formula could easily sell for $ 200 or more, but I have arranged a special discount for a while.
